DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper! Day will return at the end of the year, these FREE one day events build on the success of the previous DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper Days. As before it is all about developers learning, sharing and interacting with each other in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

There will be NO Microsoft speakers presenting, just speakers from the UK .NET developer community; although we will have some of the Microsoft UK Developer Team on hand to help out and chat to attendees.

The day is put together by the community for the community, in other words you. With Microsoft UK very kindly providing the venue, logistic support and a free lunch.

DDD 6 videos from Chicago 1 now available - 6 December 2007
The presentations from track 1 in Chicago 1 were recorded and we are pleased say they are available in the slides & videos section.

The videos are hosted on Viddler which means you can also add comments and tags directly in the videos at the specific points.

We will get the other presentations and slide desks up soon.

What to expect on the day

Lunch and Refreshments

The target audience is developers and the material will focus on .NET development.

  • Technical Tracks - Each track will have different topics so you can choose to attend which sessions are of most interest.

  • Deep Technical Content - Because people who are prepared to attend on a Saturday are likely to want in-depth content most presentations will drill into specific features and technology areas.

  • 60 Minute Sessions - Balancing the number of presentations during the day, but still encouraging new speakers to share their knowledge.

Last time we had sessions on Windows Communication Foundation, AJAX, Refactoring, Webservices and XP to name a few.

Activities will include presentations on a wide range of topics, a networking area and more.
Lunch will be provided with options for vegetarians.
Tea, Coffee and refreshments will also be laid on during the breaks.

How large is the event?

We have room for approximately 320 agendees with the main rooms holding 120 people each and about 60 in the smaller ones.

How can I get more involved?

By speaking - the agenda for the day will be set by the community.

Initially we will call for speakers to submit topics that they would like to talk on - so whether you are a first-time speaker or an experienced trainer you are welcome to submit a presentation proposal.

Then the community will vote on-line for which sessions they would like to see happen on the day and from that the agenda will be decided.

Note: In accordance with Microsoft Ltd Security Policy, any person filming at the Microsoft Campus buildings in Thames Valley Park must have authorised approval.
Unless you have acquired the proper approval from Microsoft personnel, please refrain from using personal video recorders and cameras at DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper.
